DOULA & LACTATION SERVICES


​We offer highly professional and experienced birth & postpartum doula services, and breastfeeding education and support services.

Since 2009, we have supported well over 500 birthing people, and have educated thousands of new parents while gaining degrees, certifications, and accreditations in many related fields. Currently, we offer highly individualized doula support to a very limited number of clients.

We are dedicated to continuing education. Each year, we attain more than triple the required continuing education hours for doulas and breastfeeding counselors. We voluntarily participate in initiatives for birthing and breastfeeding people, serve on non-profit committees and engage with other professionals at the local, state, national, and international levels. We make it our business to be steps ahead and involved in this profession so that we can be our best for you. We never stop learning.

BIRTH DOULA SERVICES

Our birth doula services include:

  • Prenatal meetings in your home
  • 24/7 on call during your due zone
  • Continuous labor support
  • One postpartum check-in
  • Connection to community resources
  • Phone or email support as needed during our contracted time

POSTPARTUM DOULA SERVCES

Our traditional postpartum doula services include:
  • In home postpartum support as needed, up to 40-days postpartum
  • Light housekeeping
  • Postpartum specific meal preparation
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Newborn care support
  • Education as needed

BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT

As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and Lactation Education Counselor (LEC), we provide education and basic breastfeeding support in your home. The Scope of Practice includes:
  • Identifying /achieving proper latch & positioning
  • Education & support for successful breastfeeding
  • Pumping and hand expressing education
  • Referrals to higher level lactation support if needed
Small breastfeeding problems become big breastfeeding problems quickly. Please seek breastfeeding support early.
