Lancaster Lamaze is an independent childbirth education program that recognizes pregnancy and birth as a transformative experience for families. We strive to provide students with dynamic classes that offer meaningful tools for a comfortable and healthy birth experience.

We are committed to providing evidence-based information, shared decision making, and informed consent. As an independent childbirth class, we are able to take a deeper dive into topics that are often omitted from hospital-based classes.

​Lancaster Lamaze classes are the parent education branch of Family Trees Birth Programs, a Lamaze-accredited childbirth educator training program, local to Lancaster County, PA. Family Trees Birth Programs offers international training for maternal-child health care professionals, and Lancaster Lamaze for local childbirth classes for parents. 

What does that mean for you? It means we know how to deliver high-quality, fun, engaging childbirth classes because we literally teach educators how to do the same!

​Wendy is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Fellow of the Academy of Certified Childbirth Educators, Certified Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Lactation Education Counselor, and  an internationally recognized Lamaze Trainer. Teaching worldwide, Wendy has provided childbirth education to thousands of people while providing labor support to hundreds of families in Lancaster County.
